Corrections policy
We get things wrong sometimes. When we do, we fix it quickly and say so.
- Factual errors are corrected in place, with a dated note at the end of the story explaining what changed.
- Unfair summaries — if either side’s case is misstated or weaker than its supporters would make it — are rewritten and noted the same way.
- Broken or mislabeled sources are replaced, and the note says which source changed.
